About our Presenter:
David Kidd was born in New Zealand. He completed his law degree with honours in 1990 at the University of Adelaide. He served as an Associate to Senior Members Kiosoglous and Purcell at the AAT in 1991 and 1992. Following his completion of his Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice in 1993 and admission to practice as a barrister and solicitor he commenced practice as a legal research consultant for SA legal practitioners. During this practice he developed his initial loose-leaf law publications ‘SA Workers Compensation Law’, ‘SA Industrial Law’ and ‘Damages SA’ and gained considerable insight into legal practitioners’ informational needs. These publications continue to be highly successful in SA. In 2004 David ceased his legal research consultancy to specialize in law publishing and has since developed national fair work, damages and motor and traffic law publications. David has recently moved back to NZ and continues publishing Australian publications from there.
